What I read regularly

I read about 10 periodicals regularly, down from more than 60 before the Web. Now I read more than a hundred websites fairly regularly. Here are a few of the sources I find indispensable.

Print Periodicals

The Economist
The single best in-depth coverage of the world. They're conservative - but by British standards. They recommended Kerry over Bush in the last US Election.
Scientific American
Yes, they're not as technical as they used to be. They're still the best. They do have a wierd prejudice against nano-technology - what's up with that?

Websites

BBC News
A good source of up-to-the-minute information on any news of global significance.
World Press Review
Translates articles of current interest from the world's major newspapers into English.
Slashdot
Create a free account and customize the topics. It's great to be a nerd!
